Famous Cendol In George Town

We go to Lebuh Keng Kwee. There is two cendol stalls.

I wonder about reason of two stalls still located opposite to each other at same road.

My friend choose Teo Chew Chendul stall. This stall is more popular than another stall opposite. I see crowd buy cendol in this stall.

My friend prefer eat cendol at this stall. Cendol in the blue bowl is so nice but a bit of sweet. However, I prefer eat cendol in Batu Pahat. 

On next day, I go to other stall where is opposite. This stall called as Famous Penang Road Chendol. I eat cendol. Cendol in the orange bowl is so nice.

I can't compare between orange bowl and blue bowl because I think that they are same nice. I need to eat both again.

Warning: Not all Penang people know about cendol at Lebuh Keng Kwee.

My friend who is from Penang never see this stall. Surprise. This means cendol stalls at Lebuh Keng Kwee is not 100% famous among Penang people.

I and my friends and her mother arrive at KLCC Park before 10 am. Many people stand while wait for Prince William and Kate Middleton.

We search empty space to see them so near. We get free flag. We wait patiently. A lot of people are waiting for them. I see few journalists behind me. I see one journalist who had interview with me but not greet her. Don't think that I'm bumptious.

Suddenly an aunt asks me. I can't hear what does she says. I guess what's her request. I gonna help her to hold a poster but she says something. Finally I understand. I give a space belongs to myself to her. I think that I might be kind. I can be selfish but see her and her friends look like fantasic fans of Kate Middleton. =(

I record video mostly. I take a photo once. I have no luck to shake hand with Prince William and Kate Middleton. Never mind.

#5 Penang Hokken mee soup

We have lunch at Little Penang Cafe. The Hokken mee soup is quite nice. It's little expensive. Thanks to my friend's mother for treat my lunch.

We take photo at KLCC Park. We walk toward the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC). We see a lot of people and cars in front of us. Unfortunately, Prince William and his wife gonna leave KLCC before we having time to see them again.

Kampar Curry Chicken Bread

I wish to eat the curry chicken bread since long time ago. This wish already achieved.

I go to Kampar from Pudu Sentral. Pudu Sentral is better than Puduraya (the old name of Pudu Sentral). I take the express bus Edaran Ekspres for first time.

My friends bring me to the restaurant after I arrive at Kampar. This restaurant name is Kam Ling Restaurant.

We have lunch such as the curry chicken bread and a kind of noodle. The Kampar curry chicken bread is so big.

The curry chicken is really delicious. The bread is soft and tasty with the curry if the bread still hot. The chicken meat is so delicious and quite smooth. Overall, the giant curry chicken bread is so delicious.

The kind of noodle is quite delicious when added with the chicken curry. I don't take photo of that noodle.

I want to buy the curry chicken bread for my family but I have not more time to buy it that time. >.<

Sopoong Restaurant

Sopoong restaurant is a Korean cuisine restaurant. Sopoong restaurant is located at level LG, Berjaya Times Square.

I already have meal at Sopoong restaurant two times.

Sopoong restaurant's breadth is more wider than past time. The decoration has element traditional and modern. I don't take photo of decoration.

Long time ago, I want to eat bibimbap. I order bibimbap as lunch set and cold korean rice tea. I ask to dismiss mushroom and change with other. I am not sure whether it changed with other. No mushroom in bibimbap.

Bibimbap is served as a bowl of warm white rice topped with some type of vegetables and half cooked egg and mixed with the red paste.


I eat a young bean sprout once. It's different than young bean sprouts in Chinese cooking style. I mixed bibimbap until complete. I copy from a TV program.

Bibimbap satisfy my appetite. Some small portion of kimchi, dried anchovy and salad with a soup in a small bowl. However, I don't drink that soup. Waste? Actually, I forget to drink that soup before finish drink rice tea.

The cold Korean rice tea is so unique and little sweet. It's so nice.

This restaurant make promotion of lunch set. You can order some Korean cuisine in lunch set. The price mixed with service tax 10%.

U Special Chicken Rice

I and my friend had breakfast at Wangsa Maju.

I order U Special Chicken Salad Rice. This is my second time.

U Special Chicken Rice stall had the Ho Chak label.

I remember that I had ate U Special Chicken Potato Rice before. This was okay.

The chicken meat was so crispy. Better put the special chill sauce on the chicken. So, it will become more tasty. Salad was so good. The rice was normal. The wedges were okay and not same delicious as KFC.

U Special Chicken Rice stall was located at Restoran Wang Chuang. You can walk to that restaurant from LRT Putra Wangsa Maju station.

Non halal. 

TGI Friday

Do you hear about TGI Friday? I heard that food were so expensive and delicious. (Expensive + delicious) refer to the TGI Friday food. This always appears on my mind.

I tried half food TGI Friday looks like fish crispy before. Paid? No, it was free. It was not different much than other same food. The price doesn't prevent me from try meal TGI Friday.
 

I and my friend order same food. Champ BBQ Chicken.

I don't know meaning of champ. I look at the photo of it. It might looks so nice. Actually I can read ingredients of it but don't read all. It gives surprise to me. I never except that it is a half of whole chicken. Tough to cut it to portion. I feel quite full when I not yet eat it.

Champ BBQ Chicken skin is so delicious and crispy. Champ BBQ Chicken meat is so tasteless but quite nice after I put the black pepper powder onto it or I put it into the barbecu sauce. It's little sour when mix with the barbecu sauce.

I order the iced water but it's free. I hope that this iced water had got boiled before. Hehehe.

I like the decoration of TGI Friday. The decoration looks quite classic. I feel like in year 60-an.

The price of food and beverage have paid with the service charge 10%.

I have meal at TGI Friday on Friday.

Mi Sup Udang-Ayam

Saya menonton rancangan TV Singapura tentang makanan sedap. Makanan sedap tidak kira di Singapura atau Malaysia yang biasanya diperkenalkan menerusi rancangan TV itu.

Tema rancangan TV itu ialah mi sup udang. Mi sup udang yang diperkenalkan di Singapura, Pulau Pinang dan Pudu. Komen diberikan oleh pengacara rancangan TV itu adalah positif.

Saya dan mak saya pergi ke gerai mi sup udang. Gerai itu terletak berlawanan dengan bangunan Telekom dan berdekatan dengan kuil Hindu. Saya mengecam gerai itu. Anda boleh berjalan dari stesen LRT Star Pudu. Jalan belok ke arah kanan. Jalan menerusi tempat letak kenderaan. Lintasi jalan lalu belok ke kanan. Seterusnya nampak kuil Hindu dan sebuah gerai lagi sebelum gerai itu.

Satu meja masih kosong sebaik kami sampai di sana. Mi sup udang-ayam dihidangkan untuk kami. Menurut rancangan TV itu, sup udang dicampur dengan sup daging ayam. Hirisan daging ayam kukus dan daging udang yang dihidangkan di atas mi. Jenis mi ialah mi kuning dan bihun. Anda boleh memesan satu jenis atau dua jenis mi.

Sup kurang tawar tetapi agak sedap. Kemasinan daging ayam terasa apabila ditambah dengan sos cili khas. Hirisan daging ayam sedap. Sos cili tidak berapa pedas tetapi boleh tahan rasanya. Mungkin kerana saya belum merasai sos cili khas itu sahaja. Mi kuning agak kenyal manakal bihun agak empuk. Mi dan bihun ditambah dengan sos cili yang menambahkan rasa. Daging udang tidak berbau hanyir. Saya tidak tahu membezakan rasa sup udang dan rasa sup ayam. Mungkin saya akan makan mi itu sekali lagi.

Tidak halal. Saya tidak tahu tentang harga mi itu.

California Pizza Kitchen

Saya pernah kenal restoran California Pizza Kitchen buat kali pertama melalui TV. Saya hendak makan di restoran itu. Selepas beberapa tahun yang lalu, saya dapat makan di restoran itu pada bulan ini.

Jika anda pencinta pizza, anda boleh mencuba di restoran California Pizza Kitchen. Calfironia Pizza Kitchen disebut sebagai Dapur Pizza Calfironia dalam bahasa Melayu tetapi nama bahasa Melayu tidak digunakan secara rasmi. Nama California berkaitan dengan Amerika Syarikat. Saya rindu akan pizza buatan Amerika Syarikat.

Saya dan Chai Yun telah membeli dua keping kupon Groupon tentang satu pizza Califironia Pizza Kitchen. Kupon Groupon itu membolehkan kami membayar pizza 10' pada harga lebih rendah.

Shoba dan Suresh menyertai kami makan di cawangan Bukit Bintang.

Persekitaran restoran itu sungguh sederhana. Stail restoran itu juga moden. 

Kami berbincang untuk memilih dua jenis pizza. 1. Hawaiian BBQ Chicken. 2. Tidak ingat nama. Saya tidak simpan resit. Terdapat keju dan hirisan tomato pada pizza kedua itu.

Saya memesan segelas air sejuk. Segelas air sejuk berharga RM1. Minuman lain benar-benar mahal.

Lapisan bawah pizza susah dipotong sehingga memerlukan banyak tenaga. Kedua-dua pizza itu nampaknya nipis seperti pizza buatan AS. Pizza Hawaiian BBQ Chicken memang sedap sebelum ditambah. Pizza kedua itu juga boleh tahan sebelum ditambah. Hirisan tomato kurang berjus. Selepas saya menambah serbuk keju, lada merah, sos pedas dan sejenis rempah ratus pada pizza, rasa berbeza sedikit berbanding dengan rasa asal pizza. Sos pedas dan serbuk lada merah yang menambah rasa pizza. Serbuk keju menambah rasa masin dalam pizza. Kedua-dua pizza yang rangup dimakan.

Harga bagi semua makanan dan minuman yang ditambah dengan caj perkhidmatan dan cukai kerajaan.

Roti Canai Or Roti Pratta

I read the food menu at the mamak restaurant where located near with the hotel. I mean in Geylang, Singapore.

When I see a word that pratta, I think that it's a special bread. The price is $1 (RM2.43). My friend tells me that roti canai is same as  roti pratta. I don't know.

This word is in my mind. Okay. I order roti pratta. I see roti pratta.

Oh, yeah! What the bad size? Roti canai is cheaper if compare size between roti canai and roti pratta.

Does it looks bad? However, I don't feel so full after eat roti pratta. I don't order one roti pratta else.

Kokopelli Travellers

I never think that I'll eat in Kokopelli Travellers. My friend choose Kokopelli Travellers.

Kokopelli Travellers is located in the house. So, this restaurant is little special. That restaurant serves western and east food. Many customers have meals in that restaurant. 

I order Fruitti Di Mare as meal and pineapple cane as beverage. The price of all food are so expensive while the price of all beverages are little pricey. I think carefully about food and beverage. Fruitti Di Mare is a type of pizza. One ingredients of that pizza is fish. I forget about other ingredients.

That pizza is little delicious and crispy. The size of that pizza is little bigger than what I expected. I feel so full after eat whole pizza. The price is add with service charge 10%. Decoration inside that restaurant looks like Western style. You can see photo albums about travel.

Deaf In Business Coffees of Hawaii (DiB)

Deaf in Business Coffees of Hawaii is so unique because most of staff are deaf. DiB is a cafe. I never drink coffees of Hawaii. I can't remember whether I found pack of those coffees in USA. DiB is located at Damansara Perdana.

I order Island Style 10% Kona as beverage and Passion Fruit Cheese Cake as snack. Kona is a type of coffee what is from Hawaii. Cakes and buns are being prepared by deaf staff.

The price of  Island Style 10% Kona is quite expensive. It's quite bitter. If you are coffee lover, it might suitable for you. For me, it's not more different than O coffee. The top of Passion Fruit Cheese Cake is too sweet. The texture is quite nice. The bottom of that cake is smelly likes dirty water when I start to chew.

Deaf guy draws it

 You can communicate with deaf staff with sign language. You can see sign language of beverages and food on menu paper. Therefore you can learn few sign language. Wi-Fi available in DiB.

Hope that quality of cakes will get improved soon. Deaf staff should improve quality of service and be more friendly.

T Bowl Concept Restaurant

I and my friends go to T-Bowl Restaurant. T-Bowl Restaurant is located at Floor 3, Sungei Wang. This restaurant is the second outlet after first outlet in Penang Queensbay Mall. 

I don't need to introduce about concept. This restaurant is a non halal restaurant because some meals are pork. 

We order same lunch set. One lunch set include cheese baked chicken rice, three choice of  soup and three choice of beverage. I order the cheese baked chicken rice, mushroom soup and ice milk tea as a lunch set.

Cheese baked chicken rice is quite delicious but fried rice is okay. Taste of fried rice is very strong until causes I feel bored. I would like to eat fried rice in soft aroma . Vegetables aren't oily but are tasteless and cold. The mushroom soup isn't so delicious. However, I eat until leave little soup. The mushroom is very strong. I prefer the mushroom soup that served at Pizza Hut. The cup of milk tea is special but short. 

Price: RM 13.90 before added with tax. Service is all right.

Several website offer coupons about discounts of food, service and materials. We can order coupon online and pay online to receive coupons. I tried before but never paid :-/

Home Lunch

After dissapointment journey, I and my parents went back to KL. I thought that why didn't we ate in somewhere near with my house. I thought that we gonna ate in the cafe but not. I never know the restaurant. The restaurant's name was Restoran Lucky Sin.

That restaurant was just being open. The menu had English and Chinese words.

Restoran Sekinchan Ikan Bakar

Restoran Sekinchan Ikan Bakar terletak di Centrum Setiawangsa, Jalan Setiawangsa 8. Saya dan Syukri berjalan kaki dari stesen LRT Putra Setiawangsa ke restoran itu selama 10 minit. Kami boleh menaiki bas tetapi memilih jalan kaki kerana tidak melibatkan kos. Kami melalui stesen petrol Shell dan padang.

Grilled Fish Sekinchan Restaurant is being located at Centrum Setiawangsa, Jalan Setiawangsa 8. I and Syukri walk from the Setiawangsa Putra LRT Station to that restaurant about 10 minutes. We can take bus but we choose walk way because this hasn't cost. We walk pass the Shell petrol station and the field. 

Kami tengok sebarang ikan mentah. Staf restoran itu menunjukkan isyarat bagus ketika mencadangkan mengenai ikan siakap. Kami berfikir sekejap. Kami berpakat untuk memesan satu ikan siakap bakar. Saya tidak tahu tentang nama ikan itu apabila memilih ikan. Kami memesan dua mangkuk nasi putih. Saya memesan segelas nescafe ais manakala dia juga memesan segelas sirap bandung. 

We look for any uncooked fish. A staff shows sign of 'delicious' when he suggests barramundi fish . We think for awhile. We agree together to order one grilled barramundi fish. I don't know about the name of that fish. We order two bowl of white rice. I order one ice nescafe while he also order one bandung syrup.

Ikan siakap bakar dicurahkan dengan pes. Sos cili Hainan dan kicap sayuran dihidangkan bersama daging ikan siakap bakar. Dua biji limau kasturi ditekan sehingga jus itu dikeluarkan ke atas daging ikan itu. Daging ikan itu sedap rasanya apabila ditambah dengan sos cili Hainan dan kicap sayuran. Pes tidak benar-benar pedas. Terdapat rasa sedikit masam dan agak licin. 

A barramundi grilled fish poured with the paste. Hainan chill sauce and vegetable soy sauce are being served together a barramundi grilled fish. Both of citrus lime get pressed until that juice poured onto that grilled fish. That grilled fish is so delicious when added by Hainan chill sauce and vegetable soy sauce. Pasta is not really  spicy. That grilled fish is little sour and quite smooth. 

Syukri memesan semangkuk nasi putih lagi. Kami berasa kenyang walaupun saki-baki daging ikan bakar dalam kuantiti kecil masih belum dimakan. Saya berasa agak terkejut ketika nampak harga ikan siakap bakar. Tekalah..

Syukri order one bowl of white rice else. We feel so full although little meat not yet being eat. I get little shock when see the price of a barramundi fish. Guess..

Nasib baik, tiada caj perkhidmatan dan cukai jualan dikenakan. Anda mesti membawa wang yang cukup jika anda mahu makan di Restoran Sekinchan Ikan Bakar.

I know that the price of grilled fish is so expensive but not more than RM30. However, the price of that barramundi grilled fish is RM49.00. That price really so expensive. Lucky, no service charge and government tax. You should bring enough money if you want to eat at the Grilled Fish Sekinchan Restaurant.

Restoran ini terletak di Jalan Pandan Indah 4/8, Pandan Indah. Restoran ini menawarkan makanan Jepun dan Korea. Kebanyakan makanan ditawarkan yang terdiri daripada makanan Jepun. Tidak halal.

Set BBQ untuk 2 orang
Saya memesan set BBQ ini. Antara makanan yang dihidangkan dalam set BBQ ialah 2 mangguk nasi, 2 pinggan daging paha ayam, 1 pinggan tofu dan 1 pinggan daging kambing serta minuman.

Walau bagaimanapun, saya meminta satu pinggan bakon ditukarkan dengan satu pinggan daging paha ayam. Jadi, dua pinggan daging paha ayam yang dihidangkan. Bakon diperbuat daripada daging babi. 4 jenis minuman ialah teh bunga melur, teh plum limau hijau dan dua minuman lain (saya tidak ingat). Anda boleh memanggang daging dengan sendiri atau minta bantuan pelayan untuk memanggang. Daging panggang diserap dengan sos soya atau kicap ditambah dengan serbuk cili merah adalah lebih sedap.

Alat memanggang digunakan ialah periuk arang tradisional. Khabarnya, daging dipanggang di atas arang lebih sedap berbanding dengan daging dipanggang dengan menggunakan gas. Harga set BBQ untuk 2 orang ialah RM28.80 sebelum ditambah dengan caj perkhidmatan.

Set makan tengah hari
Setiap set makanan tengah hari berharga berpatutan. Set bakon sayuran berharga RM7.90. Bakon sayuran agak sedap. Saya ingin memesan daging paha ayam tetapi seorang pelayan silap menulis. Saya terpaksa makan. Empat sushi yang berharga RM4 setiap. Rasa Unagi Temaki boleh tahan. Mungkin Unagi Temaki sedap jika daging belut (unagi) masih panas. Unagi Temaki berharga RM5.50.

Saya tiada idea tentang perhiasan restoran ini. Baik anda sendiri tengok perhiasan restoran ini,

Restoran Boston terletak di tingkat G, Viva Home. Saya memesan spaghetti. Nama spaghetti ialah Aglio Olio Spaghetti. Aglio dan olio merupakan perkataan bahasa Itali. Aglio sama erti dengan bawang putih. Olio bererti minyak.

Spagheti ini berminyak dan kurang masam. Spagheti juga tidak berapa pedas walaupun serbuk cili merah ditaburkan pada spagheti. Spagheti ini boleh tahan. Daging udang boleh tahan. Harga spagheti ialah RM11.95 sebelum ditambah dengan caj perkhidmatan. Minuman murah ialah air barli dan air kosong.

Station One Leisure Cafe


Saya memesan stik ayam dengan sos One Station. Terdapat tiga jenis sos untuk stik ayam ialah cendawan, One Station dan BBQ. Daging stik ayam sedap apabila ditambah dengan sos cili dan sos One Station.

Makanan sampingan dihidangkan bersama stik ayam pada satu pinggan. Antara makanan sampingan ialah salad sayuran, sayuran mentah, jagung dan wedget kentang. Salad sayuran sedap manakala makanan sampingan yang lain boleh tahan.

Saya memesan kopi tiramisu . Kopi tiramisu memang pahit apabila straw diletakkan lebih dalam. Kopi tiramisu memang manis apabila straw diletakkan ke atas kerana ada krim. Kopi tiramisu tidak pahit lagi apabila dikacau. Harga stik ayam ialah RM 13.50 manakala harga kopi tiramisu ialah RM 6.30. Cukai jualan dan caj perkhidmatan ditambah dengan harga.
